COVID-19

We  have  been  informed  by  the  Complimentary  & Natural  Healthcare  Council  (CNHC)  who  are  our  Professional  Standards  Authority  that:-

In the light of recent Government guidance on social distancing you should cease hands-on therapies with immediate effect. Even if you have not been told that, CNHC’s position is that you should suspend seeing your clients until further notice. It is a difficult decision to take given the impact it will have on livelihoods, but CNHC believe it is the right thing to do to assist in stemming the spread of coronavirus which can be transmitted by those who do not develop any symptoms. Safeguarding the health of your clients, your own health and that of your staff is paramount. We have a duty of care to do all we can to help end this world health crisis.

Therefore,  we  are  unable  to  take  any  bookings  until  the  situation  changes.  As soon as Government guidance allows it, then we will return to normal.

In the meantime we thank you for your continued support of Rougemont Therapy Centre and please heed the Government advice and stay safe.

A good massage can do so much more than just help you relax. If you spend a lot of time behind a desk at work, massage can counteract the pain and tension in your neck or back that prolonged periods of sitting can do. It can help improve your sporting performance, speed your recovery from vigorous exercise, and help to prevent or relieve injuries. And massage can reduce stress and help us fend of depression and anxiety; it can even help us sleep better.

If you are serious about your health and fitness, treating yourself to the occasional massage should be a standard part of your routine, along with healthy eating and exercise. And if you are recovering from injury or feeling aches or pains anywhere in your body, massage can play a crucial role in your recovery or rehabilitation.

As a fully qualified massage therapist I provide a bespoke service for each and every client, listening to your needs and concerns and tailoring your treatment accordingly. I specialise in treating sports injuries, as well as providing general massage for clients who want to release tension and enhance their sense of overall wellbeing. I have a medical background, so I bring extensive knowledge of physiology and a wide range of medical conditions with me to the massage table.

Whether you want help with a new injury, or with chronic aches and pains, or just want to de-stress and feel yourself properly relax, please get in touch to arrange your massage.
